New England Community Walk
The second annual New England Community Walk, hosted by the New England Gills for PF, will be held on Saturday, September 23 in New Castle, NH. The Walk will include a brief opening ceremony, information about pulmonary fibrosis, a beautiful one- to five-mile walk around Great Island Common, live music, kid's activities, and light refreshments. Gather your friends and family to join us as we raise funds and awareness for the Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation (PFF).
The New England Community Walk is open to everyone and unites all working to make a difference in the fight against pulmonary fibrosis (PF). The Walk highlights the importance of breath and the beauty of life—creating a memorable experience and reminding attendees to appreciate the gift of each breath and the freedom it brings. Our goal is to educate the community about the impact of PF, a complex disease without a cure that affects more than 250,000 Americans annually.
Funds raised will supports the PFF’s efforts to accelerate research, to advance improved care for those living with the disease, and to provide unequaled support and education resources for patients, caregivers, family members, and health care providers. For more information on how your gift will make a difference in the lives of patients with PF, please visit pulmonaryfibrosis.org.
Every stride taken and every dollar raised through the New England Community Walk carries a message of hope, spreads awareness, and contributes to the search for a cure for PF.
