Pulmonary Hypertension and Interstitial Lung Disease: Diagnosis and Disease Management

Please join us for a special installment of the PFF Disease Education Webinar Series at 12 p.m. CDT on Wednesday, Oct. 26. The presentation will focus on “Pulmonary Hypertension and Interstitial Lung Disease: Diagnosis and Disease Management,” and provide information to help patients better understand the disease, available treatments, and treatment options.

Dr. Bridget Collins is a Clinical Associate Professor in the Department of Medicine at the University of Washington Medical Center in Seattle, WA. She is the Director of Interstitial Lung Disease Education for the Center for Interstitial Lung Diseases at the University of Washington. Dr. Collins is board certified in pulmonary and critical care medicine. Dr. Collins received her undergraduate degree from Hamilton College in Clinton, New York. She earned her medical degree from Yale School of Medicine in New Haven, Connecticut. Dr. Collins completed internal medicine residency at Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston, MA followed by Pulmonary and Critical Care fellowship as well as a fellowship in Interstitial Lung Diseases at the University of Washington Medical Center. Since joining the faculty at the University of Washington Medical Center, Dr. Collins has specialized in the diagnosis and management of patients with interstitial lung diseases. Dr. Collins enjoys teaching patients, medical students, residents and fellows in clinic, on the inpatient pulmonary consult service and in more formal settings.

Dr. Sood is the Director of Advanced lung disease at UC Davis. Her focus is pulmonary vascular disease including pulmonary hypertension, pulmonary embolism, lung disease related to rheumatological disease and sickle cell anemia.
