Connect with us

PFF Summit is the world’s largest conference focused on pulmonary fibrosis (PF) and interstitial lung disease (ILD) research and education. Held every other year, it unites the community to come together as one to learn about this disease from globally recognized experts.

We warmly welcome patients, caregivers, lung transplant recipients, those who have lost loved ones to ILD, physicians, researchers, nurses, industry representatives, and anyone who has been impacted by PF. Attendees receive the latest and most trusted, accurate information about how to live well, treatment options, understanding the causes of ILD, and so much more. For healthcare providers, CME/MOC credit is provided.

Additional offerings

In addition to attending Summit sessions, attendees are encouraged to visit the special exhibits and receptions highlighting the latest in PF research and care. Each PFF Summit conference includes the following offerings below.

Each year, five awards will be given in the Academic category and announced at the Day 1 Welcome Reception and Poster Presentation. The top three will receive a cash prize and a travel award, and two honorable mentions will receive a travel award. The winning poster will be asked to give a 15 minute talk highlighting their research during a session at the PFF Summit.

This year, the PFF announced five NEW awards for trainee posters. The winners of the trainee posters will be given travel awards to cover flight and lodging. The announcement of those awards will be made in September of this year. Please email Zoe Bubany for any questions.

Day 1: Welcome Reception and Poster Presentation

Kick off the Summit in style at our Welcome Reception & Poster Presentation where science, community, and conversation come together! Enjoy hors d’oeurves and cocktails as you mingle with friends and colleagues and connect with some of the brightest minds in PF research.

The exhibit hall will be lined with cutting-edge scientific posters, each staffed by the researcher who helped to create it. This is your chance to walk right up, ask questions, and hear the science explained directly from the experts themselves — no lectures, no barriers, just open conversation.

As the evening unfolds, we’ll celebrate discovery with the Poster Awards Ceremony. Ten outstanding posters will receive special recognition—and the winning poster’s researcher will present their work in a dedicated conference session on Saturday.

It’s more than an opening reception. It’s your front-row seat to the future of PF research, paired with a warm welcome to the PF community.

Come curious, leave inspired.

Before you head out to explore the host city’s nightlife scene, join your PFF Summit community for an evening designed just for you. The Dine & Delight Networking Night is your chance to relax, connect, and celebrate with fellow attendees in a warm, welcoming setting.

Enjoy a complimentary dinner featuring a variety of flavors, paired with live entertainment that sets the perfect tone for conversation. The evening brings together speakers, guests, and members of the PF community to share stories, laughter, and inspiration.

This isn’t just a meal; it’s a moment. A chance to build meaningful connections, continue important conversations, and create memories with people who understand the journey. Whether you’re here to network, to unwind, or to simply enjoy the company, Dine & Delight offers the perfect close to your conference day.
