Posters and Abstracts

The Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation invited academic and industry researchers to submit abstracts of their scientific research for poster presentation at the PFF Summit 2019. All applicants must have registered to attend the PFF Summit 2019 in order to be considered for presentation.

All abstracts required submission through the online portal proposalCENTRAL. Academic abstracts were subject to peer-review.

Subject matter deemed appropriate for poster presentation at the PFF Summit 2019 included original ideas that helped improve the understanding of pulmonary fibrosis in the following areas:

• Basic Research

• Translational Research

• Clinical Research

• Social Science/Quality of Life Research

A panel from the PFF’s Research Review Committee (RRC) review all academic abstracts.

Industry posters are not subject to peer review. Space can be reserved by submitting an abstract, and acceptance is based on a first-come, first-served basis.

The Poster Presentation will took place on Thursday, November 7 in conjunction with the Welcome Reception. Academic posters were evaluated by the SAC selection panel and the top five poster presenters were recognized at the Networking Dinner on Friday, November 8. The top five poster presenters also were asked to briefly present their research during sessions on Friday, November 8 or Saturday, November 9.
