Jeans Week at AMP
In memory of Jim Cardell
Jim Cardell was a loyal, go to guy who worked for The National Board for Respiratory Care/AMP. He had noticed some shortness of breath back in November of 2012, after many hospitalizations and numerous tests he was officially diagnosed in January of 2013. Jim continued to work even while on oxygen and worked until the doctors said that there was nothing else that they could do for him medically and then that is when hospice began. That was January 2014, Jim fought a tough battle and never once complained about it. May 4th 2014 at 7:50 a.m. Jim was finally able to breathe Heaven's Air.
The employees at NBRC/AMP honored Jim with a Jeans Week in 2013, and this week they honored him with a Jeans Week. We appreciate the way they spread awareness and raise funds to help find better treatments for pulmonary fibrosis.
