Understanding Mold-Related Hypersensitivity Pneumonitis: Diagnosis, Treatment, and Remediation
Join us on Wednesday, June 25 at 12:00 p.m. Central Time for the next edition of the PFF Disease Education Webinar Series on the topic of mold and PF.
Does mold cause pulmonary fibrosis? That’s the topic of this month’s webinar! Join Dr. Traci Adams for an in-depth discussion about mold-related “hypersensitivity pneumonitis,” or HP. Hypersensitivity pneumonitis (HP) results from the lungs’ reaction to inhaled organic particles or “antigens”. This reaction can involve inflammation or scarring (also known as fibrosis), or a combination of both. HP is one of the more than 200 different types of PF.
