Pajama Day for PF
I am in 8th grade at Spring Lake Heights Elementary School and I lost my grandfather to pulmonary fibrosis in November of 2014. My school usually has a Pajama Day each year, but I noticed that there was no PJ Day scheduled this year.
I wanted to do something to honor my grandfather and help other people with this disease so I wrote a letter to our Superintendent, Dr. James McCartney. and asked if we could have a pajama day to benefit the Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation.
He agreed and I am looking forward to having lots of kids participate, raising awareness of this disease and sending our donations to PFF.
Thank you,
Claudia
