Deborah Gillman, PhD
Dr. Gillman is a clinical psychologist with the Dorothy P. and Richard P. Simmons Center for Interstitial Lung Disease at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. Since 2011 she has provided counseling services to patients with IPF and their caregivers. She has been active as well in Simmons Center Support Group meetings. As a mental health provider based in an outpatient pulmonary clinic, the focus of her practice is on the care of patients with chronic or severe respiratory health problems. She co-leads a monthly phone-in support group for patients with severe asthma and specializes in behavioral treatments for sleep difficulties.
