Every year, the Cicero North Syracus (CNS) girl's field hockey (FH) team dedicates one evening to a charity. This year, the team decided to dedicate that evening in honor of one of their own teammates father, and a member of the CNS FH booster committee, Marke Lantry. Marke was diagnoised with pulmonary fibrosis in February 2016, a progressive lung disease with no cure. All money raised on that evening will go the Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation.

We are calling the evening Fire Away Against Pulmonary Fibrosis because if you have ever been to a CNS FH game, you can surely hear Marke Lantry yell out fire away when a player is ready to shoot and score. We are asking for sponsors or donations for each point scored that evening by both teams. Please join us in an eventful evening of sportsmanship and a community joining together for a great cause.

Event Update:
Fire Away Against Pulmonary Fibrosis was incredibly successful in it's first year with wins from the both the JV and Varsity CNS Field Hockey teams! Varsity won in overtime with a score by Allie Bartlett and a signature "fire away" from Marke Lantry. Donations are still be accepted here
