On July 2nd, 2015 we lost our Mother and beloved wife, Sharon Cirilli, to Pulmonary Fibrosis. Only a year and a half after diagnosis, we watched the disease become increasingly visible and rapidly deteriorate her health. At 63 years old, she went from a happy, new retiree with big plans of relaxing, and traveling with her husband and partner of 50 years, to someone who was imprisoned to an oxygen machine, day and night, struggling to breathe on her own.

With September being Global Pulmonary Fibrosis Awareness Month, our family would like to help bring recognition to this cause.

We have mailed out hundreds of PFF wristbands to our family and friends. During the month of September, the Cirilli family will donate $5 for each photo taken and shared on social media by them using the hashtags: #ShowOut4Sharon and #GPFAM2015

We've encouraged them to get creative with their pictures and think of the most unique locations they can and in addition to share a memory or a quality they loved about Sharon in the photo description.

We are all very excited to support the PFF and raise awareness about the disease in my Mother's memory. If you have any questions, feel free to email AshleyCirilli@gmail.com
