Hi, I am Nancy and I am 61-years old and I am here today to explain about pulmonary fibrosis and how it has affected my life in the last few years.

I was seeing a doctor for emphysema for approximately three years, and my symptoms at that time were just shortness of breath. And it didn’t bother me too much on a daily basis as long as I took my medication.

All of a sudden about two years ago or a year and a half ago my symptoms got much worse really quickly, and I was having a hard time breathing.

At that time they started me on oxygen before they even diagnosed me, but in the meantime I did get to a doctor and after much testing, was told that pulmonary fibrosis was at that time and from then on, my major diagnosis along with the emphysema.
