About the Institute

The Pulmonary Fibrosis Research Institute's focus is on a unique and novel approach to research which goes beyond the patterns and protocols that have been utilized for the last thirty years and have produced only minor results. Despite the millions of dollars spent and the thousands of man hours expended, our understanding of the causes of Pulmonary Fibrosis remains an elusive target. The theories change over time but bring us no closer to a true understanding of the etiology of the disease. We still do not have an effective treatment protocol.

Why not???

We need a bold, new approach that will go outside the box and not be restrained by traditional agendas. This is a time for imaginative investigations that utilize scientists from multiple disciplines working together to find a cure.
