Fund Raising !

The Mission of the Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation
The Foundation is dedicated to improving the quality of life of Pulmonary Fibrosis Patients. We achieve this through funding research, providing Educational Materials to Patients and their Physicians, offering Support Groups (both online and face to face), and lobbying the National Institutes of Health to increase research into the causes and treatment of Pulmonary Fibrosis. One of the realities of life is that none of the above can be achieved without the expenditure of large sums of funds. We need your help.

We frequently receive letters, emails and phone calls from patients or their friends and relatives asking how they can help. There are many ways to make a contribution to advance the cause of the Pulmonary Fibrosis Community. These are: fundraising, increasing awareness of the disease and providing hope and support for the victims of this terrible disease. This is an ambitious campaign and we need your help.

We offer many ways to contribute. Please examine the list below.

Letter Writing Campaign
The Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation attributes much of its fundraising success to its patient and family community. However, in order for the Foundation to continue its mission of education, advocacy and research, we need your continued help! This approach has been very successful at other organizations. Writing to friends, colleagues, etc, and sharing your experience with Pulmonary Fibrosis while communicating a sense of urgency regarding raising funds for research, advocacy and education.  Through this effort, all of you will have an opportunity to make a direct impact on the success of the Foundation. To see sample letters select the "Letter Writing" button on the left side of this page.

Events
We have planned a series of events that not only will raise funds but will also provide inspiration, hope and a sense of participation in an activity that advances a worthwhile cause. The ticket price of many events also include a raffle item. Please click the "upcoming events button" on the left for a schedule.
