My dad was diagnosed with IPF in April of 2006. He lost his battle with this disease, just short of a transplant, on January 14, 2010. Looking to satisfy the desire to raise money for research, as well as raise awareness of this little known disease, we looked to one of my dad’s passions and hobbies, car shows. My dad was a wonderful, God-fearing man, who loved his family, friends, and community. He has lived at Holland, Indiana all of his life, was employed locally with Holland Dairies (now Prairie Farms) for 35 years, and was also a 35-year volunteer fire-fighter and first responder.
